VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION

Love pets, but not the commitment? Volunteer instead!

You get to have over 100 pets, but never spend a dime, just your time! Volunteering is a beautiful thing. It’s selfless and so rewarding, especially when you’re helping those in need. Our pets come to us from all walks of life. Some of them came from loving homes,  but unfortunate circumstances lead them here. Others have been abandoned or unwanted. Many were stray and their owners never found them. These babies thrive on the attention and kindness only a kind-hearted volunteer can give. So come visit with our furry friends. They’re sure to help you just as much as you’re helping them!

Volunteer Orientations are held twice a month at our shelter (455 F. Edward Hebert Blvd. Belle Chasse, La 70037) from 1-2pm. To sign up, call PAWS at (504)392-1601 or email our volunteer coordinator at Jordan@paws4life.org  For more information on volunteering, click the “Volunteer” tab on our homepage.

OUR NEXT ORIENTATION WILL BE HELD ON APRIL 22nd
