PAWS along with G.E.D.A (Gretna Economic Development Association) partner in having a doggie parade each year.  The parade rolls through the streets of Historic downtown, Gretna.  Streets will be filled with costumed dogs and their human escorts throwing a myriad of throws, beads and parade favors.  Additionally, a King and Queen will be chosen from the royal court.  Pawdi Gras parades the Saturday after Mardi Gras
